At SCOPES Marseille, Jean Baptiste Janisset presented ‘Dragonne Gloria’. Inspired by models of Baby Porsche 4S, miniature cars for children that the artist had adorned with lead motifs collected from historical and sacred sites, the artpiece formed a little train taking us to a magical beyond. It came to life in a video installation showing the vehicle hovering over the city, in playful advertising aesthetics. Janisset’s fantastic work invites us to explore the symbols and mysteries that surround us, and to question our belief systems.
